Other than the periodic musings that rattle out of my head, there are other things that I would like to do. Here is a list of things that I would like to do. Some require added participation. Reach out if you're interested!
"49"
"49" is an attitude. A benchmark. The culmination of one lifestyle, and a transition to another. A solidification of mindset and viewpoint happens at 49. This project is meant primarily for women and sets out to celebrate being 49 with an interview, and a photo session. At 49, most women are well established in their careers, have raised or are still raising a family, and have overcome adversity of some sort. They have been tested, achieved success, and have gained wisdom and insight to navigate their futures. While the project is named "49", you don't have to be 49 to participate. At the completion of this project you will receive a printed presentation of your interview and photos.
The Wired Wino Podcast
Having spent numerous years in the wine industry as a sales professional, I am now enjoying my stated goal of my participation in the industry: to be an end consumer! I never wanted to fall into the mold of name-dropping the bourgeois labels as benchmarks defining my palate, instead focusing on balance quality and value. This attention during my career led me to some great stories, experiences, and relationships with some quirky, fun people. The Wired Wino Podcast will be intent to find the weird, quirky, fun things that happen around wine consuming, everyday folks. Sometimes, beer, craft spirits, or other legalized substances may find their way into the machinations of the project.
Story Threads
The writer in me is looking for a good story thread, with several participants to weave a good yarn. Material is fun to work with when you have unfettered input from multiple sources, and an outline to attempt following. I have some ideas, and I'm sure you might too.
